- The military version uses 70D polyurethane/silicone-coated tear-resistant nylon fabric, providing up to 8kg of tear resistance.

Since the military version of the fabric is relatively lacking in elasticity, water will leak from the seams when it rains. However, according to our experiments, it can be repaired with SILNET SILICONE, which can effectively prevent water leakage.

Bought this to replace a very expensive coffee maker that broke after a year and a half. Works excellent! Freed up so much counter space. Saw complaints about the hot plate peeling so I always make sure the bottom of the coffee pot is dry and have had no issues. No leakage as long as the basket is in correctly. Simple, Basic and NOT expensive

Not Fancy, Not Complicated, Not Expensive. What else do you need in the morning. Replaced the same model with a new one as my old one broke after more than 15 years of faithful service. Takes 11 minutes to brew 8 cups of coffee, which BTW is really only 3.5 cups of coffee in a real mug. Yes, you can set it to start automatically in the morning. Thank goodness for Amazon same day delivery or there would have been chaos the next morning.
